Process

There are multiple pathways a project could take depending on the type of service you choose, if you have any custom requests and if you select any add-ons.

The following are typical paths:

 
 

Standard

Pre-Production

  1. You come to Zevo with an outline or a list of messaging points you want your video to include (or maybe you already wrote a script).
  2. You login and create a new Standard project.
  3. You make various selections for voiceover, music, style, etc.
  4. You write your script (or simply paste it in) and choose the scenes you want.
  5. Once you’re all done with your visual script, click Send to Production.
  6. You finish setting up your project and choose add-ons, if you want.
  7. You’ll then be directed to the checkout page to make payment unless you made any custom requests.  In that case, we’ll review your script, revise your estimate and send you an email to pay your invoice online.

Production

  1. Once you have completed pre-production, you’ll see a progress bar on your dashboard for the project.  We'll update the project status for each phase, so you can keep track at any time.
  2. Voiceover:  if you chose to hire voice talent, the talent will be contacted to record the voiceover.
  3. Music:  if you selected to get music recommendations, we’ll send you those to review and choose.
  4. Style frames:  we’ll create a few style frames using your colors and fonts and send for your approval.
  5. Storyboard:  on approval of the style frames, we’ll create a storyboard for all scenes that will include your style, onscreen text, logos, icons, etc.
  6. When the voiceover is ready, we’ll send to you for approval.
  7. Animation:  on approval of the storyboard and voiceover, we’ll complete the animation, edit everything together and send you a preview of the entire video.
  8. Once you approve the video, we’ll export a full-resolution (HD) video.  This will be uploaded to your Videos page.  We’ll notify you via email that your video is ready, and you can download it at any time.
 
 

Premium

Pre-Production

  1. You come to Zevo with a pre-written video script.
  2. You login and create a new Premium project.
  3. On this page, you simply enter your contact information and upload the script document (e.g., pdf, word document, etc.).
  4. We’ll contact you and set up a phone meeting to go over the details of what you’re looking for.
  5. After the meeting, we’ll put together an invoice based on the estimated duration of your script along with any options or add-ons you may want.  We’ll email you a link to pay the invoice online.
  6. Once you do, we’ll get started creating a visual script for you.  We’ll choose scenes and transitions from our library, enter onscreen text, choose icons, etc., all based on your script and project details.  In addition, we’ll make sure all pacing is consistent and balanced.
  7. If needed, you can upload content such as logos, custom icons, images, etc.
  8. When we’re done, we’ll send you the visual script to review and approve.

Production

  1. When you approve the visual script, we’ll move forward into production.
  2. At this point, you’ll see a progress bar on your dashboard for the project.  We'll update the project status for each phase, so you can keep track at any time.

  4. Music:  we’ll send you music options to review and choose.
  5. Style frames:  we’ll create a few style frames using your colors and fonts and send to you for approval.

Revisions

At each phase of production, you have the opportunity to make revisions.  The following amount of time is included:

Standard:  1 work hour per minute of video duration

Premium:  2 work hours per minute of video duration

The times listed above are representative of what the average customer uses to request the most common revisions such as:

  1. color changes
  2. font changes
  3. tweaking onscreen text
  4. changing logos, icons or images

If you need additional time for revisions, we are happy to give you a revised estimate.  We will always let you know beforehand if your requested revisions will take extra time.
